Grandma Camille was buried in Utah next to her husband. My sister, Maren, was in town visiting, so Bryce went with his parents and took along Dylan to get together with family and memorialize Grandma.
He should write this post, but since I am writing it... these are the only pictures he sent me of the trip.
They drove out. They got into Salt Lake pretty late... so Dylan had been trying to sleep in the car. He woke up a lot crying for mommy. So sad.
Dylan loved being with his cousins... he was meeting plenty of them for the first time.
They went bowling. He loved it.
He loved hanging out in the hotel and eating breakfast in bed.
He fell and got an owie. Poor baby. He picked out the princess bandaid... (princesses or plain... obvious choice.)
He got a new Superman hat (which he loves) and bragged about eating Cafe Rio. Yum.
His awesome cousins (Bryce's cousins who are closer to Dylan's age) showed up with a cool Jake and the Neverland Pirate ship and figures and canon for Dylan. How thoughtful! He loves it. Luckily, most the pieces are not dangerous for babies so we get to play with it plenty.
I sure missed my baby boy... and my big boy too. haha. That's what my mom says about Ray. lol.
We decided to not have late night calls with him because the first two nights he would just end up in hysterics wanting to go home and see mommy. After long days, no naps, tons of fun, obviously he was tired... but, I sure felt sad not being able to cuddle him and help him fall asleep.
